Software Used: ANSYS Procedure 1. Geometry Right click on geometry > New Design Modeler geometry > Select the XY-plane > Sketching > Draw outline > Concept > Surface from Sketches > Generate.

Setup & Solution Check the double precision > Solver processes: 4 > Time: transient > Put gravity > Models > Multiphase: Volume of fluid > Viscous: Realizable k epsilon > Change the material to water > Change the primary phase to water and secondary phase to air > Create interaction > Surface tension: 0.072 N/m > Boundary conditions > Inlet- pressure inlet: 400Pa > Opening > pressure outlet> Backflow volume fraction: 1 > Methods > Scheme: PISO > Pressure: Body Force Weighted > Initialisation > Set turbulent kinetic energy and turbulent dissipation rate to 0 > Initialise > Create a phase > Run calculation.
