TOPIC 1: YOUR ACTIVITIES DURING A SCREEN-FREE

WEEK

Hello teachers, my name is Lap, I’m 19 years old. I’m from HaNoi. I’m a
student at FPT Polytechnic, my major is marketing and sales.Today I'm talking
about the topic of your activities during a screen- free week.
In the current era of technological development, it is easy to see that people use
electronic devices a lot. The things I use every day are phones, computers, TVs,
tablets... The technology device I use the most is my phone. I have to use it
about 16 hours a day, almost always with it in my hand. I think I need screen-
free time because I spend so much time on them. I enjoy cooking indoors and
when participating in outdoor activities, I enjoy playing basketball and traveling
with friends. I think I need 2 to 3 days to relax my mind and stay away from
electronic devices. I like outdoor activities more because it is very interesting
and we get to experience many things. Next week, I plan to go on a trip with my
friends and I'm really looking forward to the upcoming trip.
