Warm-Up / Introduction (5 minutes):


Activity: "Imagine If..." Prompt students to think of something they wish existed in their school or community.

Lesson Development / Procedure (30 minutes):


1. Story Reading (15 minutes): Read a story about a young entrepreneur. Pause to discuss the actions and
motivations of the protagonist.
2. Group Discussion (10 minutes): Talk about the problem solved by the entrepreneur in the story and how
they achieved their goal.
3. Problem-Solving Ideas (5 minutes): Students brainstorm one problem in their community and how they
might solve it.

2 Period 2: Understanding Community Needs

Duration: 40 Minutes

Objective: Help students recognize community needs and consider how entrepreneurs can address these needs.

Resources/Instructional Materials:
Chart paper and markers.

Warm-Up / Introduction (5 minutes):


Activity: Quick brainstorm on "What makes a community happy?"

Lesson Development / Procedure (30 minutes):


1. Community Needs Listing (10 minutes): List common community needs, discussing why each is important.
2. Creative Business Ideas (15 minutes): Students pick a need and brainstorm a simple business idea that
could help.
3. Sharing Session (5 minutes): Students share their business ideas and discuss how these could impact their
community.

Recap / Consolidation (5 minutes):


Highlight the importance of businesses in meeting community needs and improving lives.

Homework:
- Draw or describe your business idea that addresses a community need.
