Working as Directional Drilling Engineer-III

 Provides on-site supervision of the Directional Drilling (DD) process including projection of well path to predetermined
target coordinates.
 Understands principles of Bottom Hole assembly (BHA) selection and aspects of DD performance and ensures that BHA's
are assembled as planned to include correct make-up torque and handling.
 Proficient in the use of DOX software and able to assist in provision of advice and analysis to the client representative at
the well site which includes all survey calculations and well path projections. Proficient in updating well profile plots and
providing client representative with accurate directional survey data.
 Aware of client's requirements with regards to surveying procedures. Assists in the completion of a daily DD report, BHA
performance report for each BHA run, completion of all service tickets and relevant paperwork (well data spreadsheet,
lesson learned/best practice, End of Job Customer Survey (EJCS) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) forms).
 Interfaces with the MWD engineer to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification
and correct tool face references are applied. Maintains records of all DD equipment at well site including dimensional data
and condition.
 Ensure that all equipment is laid out after use in accordance with company procedures and manifested for backload at the
end of the job.
 Ability to read and interpret designed well plans, directional survey information and other well site data.
 Drilled like S profile, L profile, Horizontal, Anti-collision Wells, Side-track, HTHP and ERD oil and gas wells as well as
CBM wells.

Also Worked as Sr. Well Site Drilling Engineer

 Act as a company representative on night and day shift at the drilling rig in the absence of day drilling supervisor/night
drilling supervisor and assist to day drilling supervisor/night drilling supervisor.
 Supervise all personnel, prepare workforce plans and implement them safely to meet drilling objective.
 Assist with the coordination of activities to ensure operation planning and logistics management is give a high priority and
to provide for safe, efficient and cost-effective operations.
 Prepare well programs, organize drilling work operation process with onshore team and pre-spud meeting with rig site
teams
 Prepare specific standing instruction drillers(SID) that are prepared for all well construction operations.
 Ensuring drilling performance and daily cost is accurately captured in daily drilling reports and dedicated reporting
software
 Performance follow up and optimization: develop strategies, and engage with contractors, base and rig site team.
 Provide engineering support/advise to the rig on program implementation.
 Supervise the moving rigs schedule on and off well locations. Ensure maximum safety and accurate positioning of rig on
new location.
 Prepare studies and reviews which will assist in solving current operational problems, improves current operational
procedures and delivers excellence in performance delivery.
 Competent in all fundamental drilling engineering skills like casing design, specific drilling challenges and associated cost
estimates, reduce well complexity, perform torque and drag studies, hydraulics studies, anti-collision screening.
 Wells Trajectory design and optimization to reduce or eliminate collision risk.
 Participate in Call for Tender for drilling service contracts.

 Safety meetings / campaigns / audits, quality reviews and operations follow up.
 Completing final well reports with emphasis on ensuring high levels of data quality is reported and that lessons learned are
captured in after action reviews and dedicated software.
