Martin Luther King Jr.'s quote beautifully captures the essence of faith as the courage to
begin a journey or pursue a goal even when the outcome or the path isn't entirely clear. It
emphasizes the willingness to take that initial step forward despite uncertainties, trusting that the
way will reveal itself as you progress. It's an inspiring reminder to embrace faith and move
forward in the face of ambiguity or challenges. Faith is like a compass guiding us through the
unknown, a belief in something greater than ourselves. It's that deep trust and confidence in an
idea, a person, or a higher power, often transcending tangible proof or logic. Faith can provide
strength, hope, and a sense of purpose, shaping our perspectives and actions in life. Faith is a
profound belief or trust in something without the need for proof or evidence. It often involves a
conviction in ideas, principles, or entities, whether religious, spiritual, or secular. Faith can
manifest in various forms, such as religious faith, where individuals trust in a higher power, or in
personal beliefs, where people have confidence in certain values, concepts, or people. It's a
deeply personal and subjective experience that can provide guidance, hope, and meaning in life.
The event started with the arrival and registration of the students who participated in this Life
Class, Session 5, entitled, “Faith”. Followed by a quick energizer, a game with prizes led by Ms.
Amanda San Juan and Mr. Joie Nobleza to energize the participants. After the game, the host
from Every Nation Campus welcomed the students, the facilitators, as well as the professor who
took part in the event. Then a prayer followed and led by one of the ENC guests, Mark Dela Cruz.
After the prayer, the guest speaker, Ms. Mhelky Corong started with her icebreaker and followed
by her talk about “Excellence”. The participants listened very well and participated when
questions were asked. Followed by the group huddle which was facilitated by the facilitators from
the Group 5 - BSN 4B and by the facilitators from Every Nation Campus - Marinduque. The
students were given a question about Faith and answered the question through sharing and
discussing their insights and realizations with their group facilitators. After the alloted time for
the group huddle, the facilitators and the students wrapped up the event and had a group photo.
Six Life Class sessions were conducted by the Every Nation Campus - Marinduque with
the help of different group leaders all from the 4th year students of Bachelor of Science in
Nursing. The life class, last session which is entitled, “Faith” was led by Mr. Fredimar M. Conde,
the group leader and together with her proponents of Group 5 - BSN 4B Watson. The aim of the
life class seminar about faith is to teach the students about what faith is and how we can apply it
in our lives, especially as Nursing students. Overall, the objectives of the event and life talk about
Faith by Mr. Mark Dela Cruz were accomplished successfully. The students were able to listen
and share their insights and reflections about the seminar and were able to gain knowledge that
they can apply in their lifestyle.
Effective seminar conduct involves thorough planning, including defining clear goals and
ensuring clear communication of objectives and schedule. Evaluate whether the timing and
duration of the seminar are convenient for your audience. People may be more likely to attend if
it fits into their schedule. Collect feedback from past events to identify any recurring issues or
concerns raised by potential attendees. Addressing these concerns can improve future attendance
rates.
