Subject: Discontinuation of Mori Shampoo Product Line
This memo is to inform you of a difficult decision made by the company regarding
the future of the Mori Shampoo product line. We will be discontinuing the production
and sale of all Mori Shampoo variants. Over the past, we have observed a steady
decline in sales of Mori Shampoo. Despite implementing various marketing and
promotional initiatives, we have been unable to reverse this trend. This performance,
coupled with a saturated and highly competitive hair care market, has led us to the
strategic decision to remove Mori Shampoo from our product portfolio.
We understand that this decision may have an impact on various departments
and teams. We want to assure you that we are committed to minimizing any disruptions
and supporting all affected employees through this transition.
● Marketing and Sales:
○ Existing inventory of Mori Shampoo will be sold through to
depletion.
○ Marketing and sales efforts will be redirected towards promoting our
other, more successful hair care brands.
○ We will work closely with distributors and retailers to ensure a
smooth discontinuation process.
● Operations:
○ Production of Mori Shampoo will cease.
○ We will work with the procurement and manufacturing teams to
manage any surplus materials or packaging associated with Mori
Shampoo.
We recognize that discontinuing a product is never an easy decision. However,
we believe this is the best course of action for the long-term health and success of our
company. We are confident that by focusing our resources on our core brands and
exploring new and innovative hair care solutions, we can continue to deliver value to our
customers and achieve sustainable growth.
