ASSIGNMENT - OBSERVATION OF SITE VISIT

In this video, I provide information about Learn to play daycare centre and
this tour provided by the owner of the daycare centre. Learn to play
provides all facilities to the children and staff so that they can easily adapt
to this environment. I have collected many information about this daycare
that I want to know about in this video. I want to know what is the starting
time of this daycare, how many children are enrolled in this daycare, and
how childcare does by the educator. I also want to know how the educator
improves the children's knowledge about new things that they use in their
daily life.

I enjoy visiting this centre as it helps me improve my understanding of

the childcare centre. I like the way the children are counted with the
help of the whiteboard as they count the children daily. There are
many different rooms for different age groups and all facilities that
need children are provided. There are toys for children to play with
and there is a room for 8 week old babies. Every Friday they have a
fun activity called "Find your inner nerd day" which the children love to
do. I also like the way the teachers communicate with parents and
provide all information through the Procare app as it is a convenient
way to inform parents of what is happening in the daycare center and
what activities will be held in the future. The teachers upload calendar
and memos as well. This is advanced technology because with the
help of this app teacher easily know who pay the amount and don’t
pay. I don’t like one thing which she said some issue in the daycare
centre some children ghting with each other so I think is it not good
children so I does not like this in day care centre

Every daycare centre uses different types of teaching methods for

children. In this video, all the daycare centres use reggio emilia
method for the study of children. In this video, I can see that the
owner bought a lot of things for children. She bought a lot of tree
and decoration materials for children to make a Christmas tree.
She opened a salon for children and a lot of things that make
children creative.

Each class room is designed to meet the needs of different age
groups. She has different rooms for babies aged 8 weeks and older.
Each room has different items for sitting, napping and chairs. She also
provides a dipper and tissue for infants. The owner of this daycare
buys many items from Dollar Tree and Walmart for the children. She
provides a blackboard for the kids to write on and lots of toys, kinetic
sand, colour highlighters and so much more. She provide all facilities
according to children age .

I am observing many things I think this environment is good for

children to physical , social ,cognitive development. They learn many
new thing every day and make their self more creative. These
development is important for children to survive in world. When
children connect with their educator and with other children they learn
many new things like language and other.
