Why do you think you are a good candidate for this position?

I believe that I am suitable for this position thanks to my technical preparation as an engineer
and curiosity to learn about new technologies, mathematical analysis, and the ability to adapt
to the use of information technologies. In addition, my experience working in adverse
conditions and under pressure allows me to be a good candidate.
Why do you want this job?
I would like to get this job because of the possibility of learning about more environmentally
friendly processes. Sustainability projects and carbon credits are one of the topics that
interest me the most, in addition to the possibility of migrating to a line with greater market
stability.
How can your skills be a valuable asset to our company?
I could be an asset for the company if they give me the opportunity to show my abilities, not
only cognitive in the logical-mathematical part, but also teamwork, to through experience in
my work optimize processes and policies, in based on market updates and benefits to
stakeholders. in addition to my proactive attitude and sports culture.
Why would we trust you to stay with us if you get a job offer with a better salary?
Because I feel identified with the company's mission by seeking technologies that reduce the
carbon footprint and offer long-lasting and valuable services to the client. Where I am also
interested in having the possibility of settling in a country like Canada and having the
possibility of continuing professional growth within a more stable economy.
What are your weaknesses?
My weaknesses are in some cases being a good Samaritan and being flexible when helping
others. In some experiences they have used me because they knew that empathetic part of
me.
What are your strengths ?
My strongest points are the capacity for analysis, quick learning, as well as adaptability for
high-performance work seeking the best quality. Carrying out measured risk management,
making informed decisions and implementing policies according to corporate objectives.
Tell me about some work experiences where you really had to challenge yourself to solve a
technical problem.
There have been several occasions in which I have had to apply technical improvisation, an
example could be one day when we had a leak in a By-pass valve (2 positions three ways)
located in the hydraulic line of the truck manifold. We had no way to replace it and shipping
took more than a week. This affected the operation drastically. In the preoperational meeting
I explained the possibility of using another valve that was available and had characteristics
like those required, only that we had to block it in a single position and cover one of its
passages. In this way we solved the problem temporarily while the new one arrived.
How do you feel working under high pressure?
I have an affinity for working under high pressure, I like to be productive and spend energy
on processes of value and growth.
What are your professional goals in the next 5 years?
I would like to focus my engineering career on a field other than oil economics, but without
leaving the industrial area and energy-related projects. I also want to do a master's degree in
information technology or renewable energy.
Do you feel better working in an office environment or in the field? What position do you
choose in the company?
I would like to have the possibility of being both in the office and in the field. I have had the
opportunity to work in both environments and I would be lying if I have not enjoyed the
advantages of both modes. I would like to start in a position that allows me to learn from the
bottom and then grow thanks to experience and results.
Tell me what your tasks were at your previous job.
Follow the guidelines of my supervisor, attend and participate in safety meetings, prepare
the workplace, use electrical tools, take measurements and install accessories for the
installation of rectifiers that control energy for cathodic protection in Keystone the pipeline.
Are you familiar with oil and gas facilities? What experience do you have working in oil and
gas facilities?
Yes, I have experience and am very familiar with pre-tolerance installations thanks to my
experience as an engineering assistant and I have been a well control instructor. Even as a
construction worker I had the opportunity to work with pipelines. I know locations such as oil
wells, pumping units, gas dehydration plants, hydrocarbon collection and storage centers,
etc.
Have you researched what we do? Yes, they are pioneers in technology that works with
renewable energiesand also management of carbon credits.
How do you feel about working with renewable energies?
I feel very good working in a company with a vision of sustainability, long-lasting products
and services, and efficiency. In addition to being able to learn from the new carbon credit
market and its exponential implementation in the future
