Special event for Valentine’s Day
The Masquerade party is a social event where attendees wear elaborate
mask, costumes or disguises. The purpose is often to create a sense of
mystery and anonymity, allowing people to interact in a more playful and
demonstrative manner. Masquerade parties have a rich history and are
often associated with elegance, intrigue and festive celebration.
The primary objective of a masquerade party on Valentine’s Day is to create
a mysterious and romantic atmosphere. The masks add an element of
intrigue, allowing participants to engage in playful interactions while
maintaining a sense of anonymity. It’s a unique and festive way to celebrate
love and create memorable experiences.
The Marketing, Promotions and Events Section of Sablayan Tourism Office
will be the primary facilitator of this project. Financial, logistics and
coordination will be facilitated by the Marketing section charged to Local
Youth Development Office and Municipal Social Welfare and Development
Office.

This project aims to benefit students of the local population, specifically
college students of legal age, in celebrating love and strengthening the
bonds between their friends and partners. In addition, unmarried
individuals who are open for socialization and romantic opportunities.
Moreover, the proceeds of this activity generated through the 100-peso
registration fee of the attendees will go to the local artists of the
municipality. Lastly, the Local Government Unit of Sablayan, through this
activity, will bring love and joy to the target participants, adding a strong
sense of civic involvement in the programs and activities of the
municipality.
The proponent strongly recommends the execution and implementation of
this project as it will open strengthen the association of local artists of
Sablayan and involve the youth sector in the future projects and programs
of the local government.
