CARRER PLAN

Graduating with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics is a very


exciting accomplishment. It is a great opportunity to make a career out of teaching and
engaging with students of all ages. As a mathematics teacher, I plan on using my knowledge,
skills, and enthusiasm to make a positive impact on my students and to help them succeed in
their studies. This career plan outlines my goals and strategies to make the most out of my
education and experience.

My short-term goal is to obtain a job teaching mathematics in a secondary school. I


plan to use my knowledge and enthusiasm to engage my students and to help them learn. I
am passionate about mathematics and I want to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with
my students. My long-term goal is to obtain a master's degree in mathematics education.
This will give me the opportunity to further my knowledge and understanding of
mathematics and to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with my students. Additionally, it
will give me the opportunity to become a mentor to my students.

In order to achieve my goals, I plan to use the following strategies. First, I plan to
actively seek out job opportunities in the field of mathematics education. I will use my
connections, research different school districts, and reach out to potential employers. I will
also utilize various online job search platforms to find opportunities. Second, I plan to create
an online portfolio that highlights my skills and accomplishments. This portfolio will
demonstrate my knowledge of mathematics and my enthusiasm for teaching. Third, I plan to
participate in professional development activities. This will give me the opportunity to meet
other professionals in the field, attend conferences, and network with potential employers.
Fourth, I plan to stay up to date with the latest trends in mathematics education. This will
help me to stay ahead of the curve and to keep my teaching techniques fresh and innovative.
Fifth, I plan to obtain a master's degree in mathematics education. This will give me the
opportunity to further my knowledge and understanding of mathematics and to share my
knowledge and enthusiasm with my students. Additionally, it will give me the opportunity to
become a mentor to my students.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics is a great


accomplishment. With the right strategies in place, I am confident that I can achieve my
goals and make a positive impact on my students. My plan is to actively seek out job
