 PREFACE

Robotic technology has been making inroads in various industries, and the
aluminium industry is no exception. With the increasing demand for aluminium
and the need to improve efficiency and productivity, many companies in the
aluminium industry have started to explore the use of robotics in their operations.

The use of robots in the aluminium industry can help improve the speed and
accuracy of various processes, such as casting, extrusion, and fabrication. Robots
can also be used for material handling, quality control, and maintenance, reducing
the need for human intervention and improving safety in the workplace.

Moreover, robotic technology can help reduce operational costs by improving

process efficiency, reducing waste, and minimizing downtime. It can also enable
companies to increase their production capacity, respond to market demands
quickly, and improve product quality and consistency.

In the preface of robotic technology in the aluminium industry, companies need

to invest in robotic systems, develop and implement appropriate programming,
and train their employees to work alongside robots. However, the benefits of
using robotic technology in the aluminium industry are significant and can lead to
