Turkmenistan was granted the legal status of permanent

neutrality by the UN General Assembly, is a historical

Turkmenistan implements an active foreign policy aimed
at the interests of the peoples of the region and the
world. Adhering to the generally recognized norms of
international law, equality, mutual respect, good
neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation, it
occupies a worthy place in the international space.

Cooperation, and many countries of the world. it

The policy of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan is a
reflection of the wise principles, noble values and
humanitarianism of our people, which have continued
since ancient times.Indeed, today, Turkmenistan is
implementing new initiatives aimed at strengthening
international cooperation for the sake of global peace
and sustainable development, based on the trends of a
new approach to the development of international
cooperation. Our great reforms have made
Turkmenistan a center of special attention in the eyes of
the international community. The honorable President's
fair policy in this regard paves the way for new
initiatives and heights.
Today is a new holiday, which dates back to the granting
of the legal status of permanent neutrality to
Turkmenistan - the International Day of Neutrality,
which further strengthens the reputation of our dear
Motherland in the world as a state that adheres to the
principles of peace, benevolence, humanity and
prioritizes mutually advantageous cooperation with
peoples and regions, and our ancient principles of

Independence Day of the Motherland is celebrated as a
holiday celebrating the commitment of Turkmenistan
and the Turkmen people to the principles of peace,
reconciliation and humanitarianism. Our stable state
promotes the principles of neutrality, peace-keeping,
good neighborliness, and brotherhood in foreign
relations.
