TruFiber P Value Proposition
Benefits to our customers
Product Feature Description of Feature Customer Benefit
High Energy Efficiency Wall Plug efficiency >32% Operating costs reduced.
Power Headroom TruFiber P laser has headroom in power supply to offset aging Long lasting product and consistent
that occurs for all pump diodes over time. Most competitor’s process performance over the years.
laser power low to start with, and no route for compensation.
Inherent Power Stability Inherent power stability of ±1% over 8 hours operation at Highest process stability even for
constant temperature. Power stability <2% across power range. demanding applications.
Main competitor’s laser measured 2-4% across the power range.
Active Power Control (optional) reduced sensitivity to termparture changes in short term and Gives consistent processing results for
increased long term power stability using integrated power long production runs.
sensors to measure and regulate the laser power in real time.
Insensitive to Back Reflections Multilayered approach to providing protection for laser (including Reliable beam source even in case of
during material processing combination of LCMS, GT Wave, active detectors) whilst processing reflective materials or
minimising nuisance tripping. when process goes out of alignment.
Performance Level e (Ple) Meets the highest safety standards Vastly reduces the risk of injury to
users through incorrect operation of
the laser or due to accidental damage.

Active Power Control (APC) Option
Closed-loop control mechanism on µs timescale based on Power Sensors inside HPC Tray
Technical description
The power measuring sensor inside the laser detects the laser power and compares it on the microsecond
timescale to the target value.
If the actual value deviates from the specified target value, the laser power is readjusted until both values are the
same once again.
In this way the laser power is kept constant at a preset and specified value, regardless of its age or ambient
conditions.
