Sub: My Bharat Portal Registration of all NSS Volunteers & Programme Officers- Reg

Sir/Madam
I am to refer to the subject and to inform you that it is mandatory that all the NSS
programme Officers and their unit NSS volunteers are to be registered in the MyBharat portal.
The Tamil Nadu has a volunteer’s allocation of 4,06,700 out of which only 1,11,704
NSS volunteers are registered in MyBharat portal. The Registration of NSS volunteers is very
thin and it needs vigorous enrolment campaign through WhatsApp and class room lectures
etc to enrol all NSS volunteers and programme officers in MyBharat portal.

Kindly share this information to all NSS program officers & volunteers to register without
fail by 10th May,2024. The NSS Grants will be released only to those NSS units registered in
Mybharat portal.

It is the responsibility of the concerned NSS program coordinator, DLO & Program
officers to ensure that all volunteers & NSS POS under their jurisdiction get registered in
MyBharat portal and send weekly report ( i.e how many people are registered during the week)
to Regional Director’s Office on every Friday before 2 pm.
