MEMORANDUM
TO : Council Executives

RE : National Trainers Conference 2024

We are happy to inform you that the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) will hold a face-to-face/ in person
NATIONAL TRAINERS CONFERENCE 2024 on April 26-28, 2024 at the Helena Z Benitez National Program
and Training Center (HZB NPTC) in Tagaytay City. Since GSP has been accredited last December as
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC),
we applied for the course accreditation of the Conference, and is awaiting for approval.

Participants must be GSP Certified Trainers (Diploma’d, Credentialed, Specialist) who are actively
conducting training during the present triennium. They must be physically fit to travel and participate in
the 3-day Conference. Those who have not attended last year’s National Trainers Conference are
preferred to be prioritized this year.

> REGISTRATION FEE


Registration fee is P4,500.00 per participant.
Payments should be deposited in cash or check on or before April 5, 2024 (Friday) at the bank account
below:

Registration fee of participants can be charge to PTDG. (If adult deposit is available)

STRICTLY, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND OF THE REGISTRATION FEES IF THE PARTICIPANT FAILS TO
ATTEND WITH NO VALID REASON.

The Registration Fee is inclusive of the following:


 2-Night Accommodation at HZB NPTC (April 26 and 27)
- Participants will be billeted at private rooms (very limited slots) and dormitory
rooms good for 6 to 10 persons. Priority in rooming assignment will be based on
submission of registration form & payment.
 Meals (Lunch on April 26 to PM Snacks on April 28)
 Conference Kit and T-Shirt

> REGISTRATION FORM LINK


Interested participants should fill-out the Registration Form Link
(https://tinyurl.com/NTC2024Registration) to officially register in the Conference. They must attach on
the link the proof of payment (bank deposit slip copy). They also need to indicate the date when the bank
deposit was made. If registration fee is charged to the PTDG, participants must attach a document from
the Council/Region indicating such charging, and provide the date of the document. The Registration Link
will be closed on April 5, 2024 (Friday).
> ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Participants are advised to go on their own to and from HZB NPTC in Tagaytay City. They are expected to
arrive on April 26 (Friday) at around 12:00 noon for the Triage, Registration, Settling Down and Lunch. The
Orientation will start at 1:30 p.m. on the same day, followed by the Opening Ceremonies at 2:15 p.m.
Participants are expected to leave after lunch on April 28 (Sunday) at around 1:00 p.m.

Early arrival is discouraged as everyone needs to undergo the Triage on April 26 (Day 1 of the
Conference) to ensure the health and safety of all. Participants who opt to extend their stay at HZB
NPTC need to directly coordinate with the Center and personally shoulder all expenses.

> COVID-19 HEALTH DECLARATION AND LIABILITY WAIVER HEALTH EXAMINATION FORM
Participants need to submit the accomplished COVID-19 Health Declaration and Liability Waiver and the
Health Examination Form (please see attachments) during the on-site registration at HZB NPTC in Tagaytay
City on April 26.

Non-submission of such forms will result to non-acceptance in the Conference regardless if registration
fee has been paid.

Important!
Participant who manifests any of the COVID-19 symptoms shall be subjected to Antigen Test. If the
result is Positive, she will be required to go home on her own, and will be entitled to the reimbursement
of only half of the registration fee. Isolation of participants manifesting symptoms but tested negative
shall be upon the discretion of the Conference organizers who will carefully assess the situation.
Concerned participants are enjoined to cooperate.

>TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER INCIDENTAL EXPENSES


Transportation costs and other incidental expenses shall be borne by the participant or the Region/Council
depending on the availability of funds.

> CONFERENCE EVENT T-SHIRT


Please refer to the T-shirt Chart below and have your participants indicate on the Registration Form Link
their T-shirt size.

Submitted sizes are considered FINAL, and NO SWAPPING OR EXCHANGE of T-shirt size will be
entertained during the Conference
> THINGS TO BRING
GSP Official Business Uniform, GSP Adult Scarf, GSP Alternate Uniform with Green Vest, GSP Black Polo
Shirt, GSP Jogging Pants, GSP Fun T-Shirts, Evening Socials Attire (inspired by one’s birth year/decade),
Sleepwear, Closed Black Shoes, Rubber Shoes/Sneakers, Slippers, Bath Towel, Toiletries, Medicines,
Personal Belongings and Vaccination Card. Other optional items are Jacket/Sweater, Jeans/Slacks,
Cap/Hat/Bonnet, Umbrella, Flashlight, Sit-upon, and Sunglasses. Participants may bring laptop for use
during sessions.

More details will be provided later, including update on the status of our application for PRC course
accreditation of the Conference.
