1)Name of Industry:-Apple Industry

Investment:- For the fiscal year2019,thecompany's iPhone business accounted for
approximately54.7% of total sales. The company's Services segment made up approximately
17.7% of revenue. Mac sales generated 9.8% of total revenue. Wearable’s, Home and
Accessories segment comprised 9.4% of the company's sales. The iPad accounted for 8.1% of
the company's sales.

Turnover:- Apple's worldwide annual revenue totalled $274.5billion for the 2020fiscal
year.

Pollution:- Alleged violations include significant amounts of aluminium-magnesium alloy


shredding on the floor and dust particles in the air, lack of proper ventilation, inadequate
personal protective equipment for handling toxic material sand dumping of industrial fluids
and waste into groundwater and nearby rivers

a 2.8% stake in Panasonic, as well as joint- ventures with two in China (GAC Toyota and
Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor), one in India(Toyota Kirloskar), one in the Czech Republic
(TPCA), one in the United States (MTMUS), along with several "nonautomotive" companies.

Pollution:- In 2003, Toyota was fined $34M for violating the United States Clean Air Act.

2005 to 2015. 3. At the time, this was the biggest civil penalty ever levied for violating
United States Environmental Protection Agency emission reporting requirements.

Investment:- The company has invested Rs 1,250 crore in the first half of the fiscal for
physical infrastructure.
The company, which employs over 5 lakh people, also reported an increase in attrition at
11.9%.

Turnover:- As of 2018, it is ranked eleventh on the Fortune India 500 list. In September
2021, TCS recorded a market capitalization ofUS $200 billion, making it the first Indian IT
tech company to do so. In December 2022, the market cap was Rs. 11,71,481.89 crore.

Pollution:- During Financial Year 2021 (FY21), the company's absolute energy
consumption came down by 46.6 per cent over the prior year, and absolute carbon footprint
(Scope 1 + Scope 2) by 48.8 per cent.
