5.3. Daily Maintenance


1. Inspect the connections of the support hose and hydraulic cylinder for signs of oil and
water leakage, check the oil and coolant levels. If malfunctions are detected, eliminate them
immediately and bring the amount of oil, water, and coolant to normal.

2. Check the tightness of the air cleaner mounting bolts, muffler pipe, track roller
suspension and other connections. Tighten if necessary.
3. Check the condition of the electrical wiring.
4. Check the coolant level (Fig. 5.1).
Remove the radiator cap and make sure the coolant level is above the bottom of the filter.
Add water if necessary. Before adding fluid, stop the engine and allow it to cool. Add
coolant, then start the engine again and check the water level after idling for 5 minutes. If
frequent replenishment is required, the system must be checked for coolant leaks. Do not
remove the radiator cap until the engine has completely cooled down, as you may be
scalded by steam or hot liquid. Unscrew the radiator cap slowly to release excess pressure.
