Quadrilateral is a closed plane figure consisting of four line segments or sides.
Parallelogram is a quadrilateral with two pairs of opposite sides that are parallel. A rectangle is a parallelogram with four right angles. Rhombus is a parallelogram with all four sides congruent. Square is a rectangle with all four sides congruent. Kite is a quadrilateral with two pairs of congruent and adjacent sides.
