Meet Melissa Sunjaya, a Jakarta native with a

global artistic perspective. Armed with a graphic arts
education from Universitas Trisakti and the Art
Center in Switzerland and California, she was not
merely a creative thinker but also an avid reader,
skilled writer, and enthusiastic traveler. Her designs
are narratives spun from her journeys, infusing
adventure into every piece. Tulisan products were
initially crafted by Melissa to provide comfort,
especially during music festivals. Despite her
dedication to her work, Melissa knew how to find
delight in simple, cheerful moments. These products
were created to let her dance with friends, swept
away by the stage sounds, unaware of time passing.
In the rhythm of music, she escaped the mundane,
embracing life's joyous quirks, proving that amidst
her creative seriousness, she was equally passionate
about finding joy in the simple, carefree moments.
 Hand-printed serigraphy textiles on unbleached
(chlorine-free) cotton canvas, using eco-friendly
water-based inks. For the handbags and accessories
category, unless otherwise noted, each textile is
protected with water-resistant Poly-Urethane coatings.
This interior lining is a highly durable water-repellent
fabric, created using the most advanced technology
from recycled PET bottles and post-consumer
materials. Every piece is handmade with fair,
sustainable, and ethical practices.
