URGENT MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT : MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2023-133 REGARDING BARANGAY

AT KALINISAN DAY (BarKaDa)

DATE : 12 SEPTEMBER 2023

This has reference to the attached Memorandum Circular No. 2023-133 signed by Atty.
Benjamin C. Abalos, Jr., Secretary of the Interior and Local Government, regarding the launching
of Barangay at Kalinisan Day (BarKaDa). A simultaneous and nationwide clean-up drive activity
shall be conducted on September 16, 2023.

Relative to this, you are hereby directed to disseminate the attached Memorandum Circular to
all LGUS within your area of jurisdiction for their information and reference and enjoin officials
and personnel of your respective offices to take part in the simultaneous clean-up and confirm
their attendance thru https://tinyurl.com/0916BARKADA not later than September 13,
2023, 2:00 P.M. Afterwards, the Department shall release a Regional Order for the confirmed
participants.

Further, kindly facilitate the submission of report after the conduct of the clean-up activity via
google drive link: https://tinyurl.com/BarKaDaReport2023 not later than October 6, 2023
(Friday) .
