The charts below illustrate the transformation in the population of Yemen and Italy, according to

different age ranges, from 2000 to the prediction of 2050. Generally, the number of citizens in
Yemen does not have many significant changes compared to Italy.
In 2000, people aged 0-14 take the most percentage of Yemen's population, about 50.1%. Whilst
the smallest percentage refers to elders, approximately 3.6 percent. In the next 50 years, the
indicators of population structure in this country tended to transform. The figure for retired people
decreased by about 12% whereas that for people in the 15-59 age range increased to 57.3%
On the other hand, the age of employment in Italy has the highest sum, at about 61,6%. Additionally,
the sum of children is 14,3% which is the minority. 50 years then, the figure for people aged 15-59
is still outnumbered. The percentage of children will decrease, however, to 11.5%
To summarize, the population in both Yemen and Italy will change according to the prediction for
2050. However, Italy always has a higher percentage of children.
