PROVISIONAL ADMISSION INTO THE FACULTY OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

In connection with your application for admission into the University of Sierra Leone, I am pleased to
offer you Provisional Admission to study for the Diploma in Nursing in the faculty of Nursing and
Midwifery for the 2023-2024 Session. You have been admitted into Year 1 of a Three Year programme.

fees MUST BE PAID IN FULL INTO THE ACCOUNT INDICATED IN THE PRECEDING
PARAGRAPH BEFORE A CANDIDATE IS OFFERED FULL ADMISSION AND ALLOWED TO
REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAMME.

The schedule for refund of fees in case you wish to withdraw from the programme is indicated
below. A student who officially withdraws from the college during the first five weeks of the
academic year is entitled to a partial refund of FEES ONLY in accordance with the following
schedule:-

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD REFUND

Within first two weeks : 80%
Between first two and four weeks : 40%
Between first Four and Five weeks : 60%

Refunds are based on the date the administration accepts the withdrawal application, not the date the
student signs it, and a withdrawal can only be accepted for a reason the administration deems valid.
