I. Project Task
1. Please interview a foreigner in which the questions should cover these following topics:
a. Telling time
b. Telling Daily and Business Routine
c. Describing Current Activities
d. Describing Future Plans and Actions
e. Describing Completed Actions
OR
a. Free topics related to business context which implement the interpersonal communication skills
including:
1) Foundations of Interpersonal Communication (barriers in effective communication)
2) Active Listening
3) Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication

Note: Please Submit the video of your interview before 26th of May, 2024

II. Guidance

Here is your Guidance in doing the interview:

1. The foreigners should be outside ASEAN
2. You can do the interview online or offline
3. If you want to do it Online, you can use one platform like OME TV or others to do your interview
(make sure you record the conversation)
4. The minimum of the video is 3 minutes and 10 minutes for maximum (more than 10 minutes is
acceptable as long as you get the permission from your lecturer)
5. The video can be edited by implementing some visual aids or music background. The video should
have a subtitle on it.
6. The video can contain several collections of your interview with several foreigners (as long as the
time of the video meets the minimum and maximum time)

III. Scoring Rubric

You can see the following scoring rubric if you want to get the score that you wish!

No Score Range Criteria

 Interview more than 1 foreigner
 Implement the topics being assigned
1 90-95
 Ask additional questions about potential topics related
to business context (such as asking about the foods,
 drinks or typical places that foreigners like and become
one of business idea for the future)
 Simple draft of business plan to support your video in
the form of PDF File
 The video length is above 5 minutes
 Excellent in Pronunciation, Verbal & Non Verbal acts,
Fluency and Visual aids in the Video without with
slight errors are still acceptable.

 Interview more than 1 foreigner

 Implement the topics being assigned
 Ask additional questions about potential topics related
to business context (such as asking about the foods,
drinks or typical places that foreigners like and become
2 86-89 one of business idea for the future)
 The video length is above 5 minutes
 Very Good in Pronunciation, Verbal & Non Verbal
acts, Fluency and Visual aids in the Video with slight
errors are still acceptable.

 Interview more than 1 foreigner or 1 foreigner only (for

1 foreigner is acceptable as long as it meets with the
time requirement below)
 Implement the topics being assigned
3 81-85  The video length is above 5 minutes
 Good in Pronunciation, Verbal & Non Verbal acts,
Fluency and Visual aids in the Video with some errors
are still acceptable.

 1 foreigner only
 Implement the topics being assigned
 The video length is 4 – 5 minutes
4 76 - 79  Understandable in Pronunciation, Verbal & Non Verbal
acts, Fluency and Visual aids in the Video with some
errors are still acceptable.

 1 foreigner only
 Implement half of topics being assigned
 The video length is 3 – 4 minutes
5 71 - 75  Understandable in Pronunciation, Verbal & Non Verbal
acts, Fluency and less Visual aids in the Video with
some errors are still acceptable.

 1 foreigner only
 Implement half of topics being assigned
 The video length is under 3 minutes
6 Below 71  Struggle in Pronunciation, Verbal & Non Verbal acts,
Fluency and no Visual aids in the Video with many
errors.
