Our experience in London

Have you thought about how your experience visiting London will be ?
Well here’s our experience visiting it.
A few months ago we visited London. It was the end of the stage trip. We enjoy it so
much so we’re going to explain our experience and activities that we did.

The beginning of our amazing trip

The 18th of June when we got to the airport of London, the first thing that we did was
take a bus to leave the bags at the hotel. We went to have lunch at the Borough
Market. Our recommendation is that if you go to London, choose a place that makes
traditional food. After dinner we went to the Millenium bridge and to St.Paul's
cathedral. Two magnificent sites that we recommend you take a look at but don’t
spend much time on.

On the second day we got up as early as we could. We started the morning visiting a
history museum. It was a curious place where we could see a lot of ancient things
and a huge whale skeleton at the entrance of the museum. After that we walked by
Oxford Street seeing all the shops and also there were United Kingdom flags
hanging all around the street. We moved around London by subway, (the stations
were like a labyrinth). Thanks to the fact that we were able to take the subway, we
took advantage of the days and we visited many parts of London in just one day.

The third day was a very tiring day, the subway didn’t work so we had to walk
everywhere but thanks to that we saw a lot of cool stuff (like a pink ferrari). So before
lunch we went to the London eye. It was amazing and you can see everything from
there. What we found more interesting is that the queen has a “sphere” just for her,
it’s really fancy. Well after that we walked to camden town and it was amazing. It was
different from the rest of London. The best recommendation I have for you is visit the
markets and negotiate the prices with the sellers.

The fourth day was a calmer day, the subway worked again. We visited the famous
Big Ben, also Westminster Palace. It was so impactful to see it in person, we walked
a little bit more and we arrived at Buckingham Palace. We were lucky to see a
parade of the iconic soldiers of the queen, we enjoyed it a lot. It was curious to see
the coordination they have and how serious they are. We finished the day visiting the
British Museum ( it was amazing) and we did an activity there.

Our last day in London

This was the day to go home, because of that we didn't spend much time visiting
London. In the morning we went to Notting Hill, a very nice neighbourhood with
houses of different colours and a lot of shops for souvenirs. After this we return to
the hotel to take our suitcases and finally catch the plane to Barcelona.

Overall visiting London with our friends was an unforgettable experience and
definitely one of the best trips we have done. Our recommendation if you want to
visit a city like London in a few days, is to be prepared to walk a lot and have a good
itinerary.

If you go to London, will you go to some site that we haven't mentioned?
