DIRECTION: Answer each question based on your perspective. Your answer must be

1. What is Self-Awareness?
- The capacity to recognize and understand one's own ideas, feelings, behaviors,
motivations, and traits introspectively is known as self-awareness. Understanding
one's weaknesses, virtues, ideals, and beliefs is necessary for it. People who
possess this awareness are better able to think back on their experiences,
comprehend how their actions affect other people, and choose their actions and
conduct with knowledge. It is an essential component of human cognition and
has a strong connection to empathy, emotional intelligence, and personal growth.
The Johari Windows has 4 areas, the first one is the Open Area (Arena) the
quadrant encompasses shared aspects of ourselves, including behaviors,
attitudes, feelings, and motivations, which are understood by both individuals and
others, requiring clear communication and feedback. Second one is Blind Area
(Blind Spot) the quadrant represents unseen aspects of ourselves, such as traits,
behaviors, or feelings, which require feedback from others to enhance

awareness. Third will be Hidden Area (Façade) this quadrant represents hidden
aspects of ourselves, including private thoughts, feelings, fears, and experiences,
encompassing our secrets, insecurities, and vulnerabilities. Last one is Unknown
Area (Unknown) it is a quadrant that represents unconscious aspects of
ourselves, such as thoughts, talents, and potential, which can be discovered
through self-discovery, feedback, and personal growth.
4. List down the seven intermediate values related to socialization and define each.
The seven intermediate values that is related to socialization are the following:
Tolerance- Tolerance is the acceptance and respect for diverse beliefs, cultures,
and lifestyles, requiring open-mindedness and nonjudgmental behavior towards
those with differing views or practices.
5. Write the factors that affect value formation and the types of experiences that
influence value formation.
There are some factors that affects the value formation and here are some
examples of it; Cultural Background, Family Influence, Religious Beliefs, Peer
Groups, Education and Schooling, etc,. There is also different types of experiences
that can influence value formation and those are Media and Technology
Consumption, Family Experiences, Educational Experiences, Cultural Experiences,
Religious Experiences, etc,.
