➢ User Licensing
This product can only be used by customers who have agreed to the End User License
Agreement.
Please be sure to read and agree to the License Agreement before installing this product.
➢ Operating Environment
The operating environment for this product is described on the official website of the product,
so be sure to review it before use.
Please note that we cannot guarantee proper operation if used in any other operating
environment. Additionally, even when used in the operating environment described, it may not
be possible to use it due to design specifications and/or usage environments peculiar to
various other software and hardware in the environment.
Not all operations are guaranteed to work, even in an environment that meets the described
conditions.
Please be advised that we cannot accept any returns due to issues arising from the
environment and other factors beyond our control.

This manual provides a guide to the installation, authorization, and deauthorization
procedures.
To see the detailed manual for VOCALOID6, start VOCALOID6 Editor and go to “Help” →
“Reference Manual.”
Note: Screen shots used in this manual are from macOS 12 and Windows 11.

Installation
Installation
There are several installation files. After confirming that the operating environment and conditions for the
product are met, perform all of the installation steps. Here we will explain one of the procedures as an
example.

To display customization options:
You can customize what gets installed. Click “Customize” on the left and then select what you want to
install.
Installation begins.

The following window appears when installation finishes.
This completes installation. Repeat the procedure above until the installation of all the files is complete.

Authorization
Authorization
In order to use VOCALOID6, authorize the package after installing the files by accessing the VOCALOID
authorization server via the internet. Although VOCALOID6 can be used for a certain period without
activating it, it can no longer be used once that period expires. Be sure to authorize the software to
continue to use it.

Online Authorization Procedure
1. Start VOCALOID Authorizer.
* If you have installed products before VOCALOID4, a dialog box appears with the message,
"VOCALOID Authorizer is trying to install a new helper tool." Please install the helper tool.
2. Click “Authorization.”

3. Make sure the “Authorization” tab is displayed.
4. Enter the serial code and click “Next.”
Several serial codes can be authorized at the same time by entering them as shown below.

6. Check and make sure the status in the list is “Complete,” and then click “OK.”

Audio Device Settings
1. Start VOCALOID6 Editor.
2. On the menu, select “VOCALOID6 Editor” → “Preferences….”
The Preferences dialog appears.
3. Configure the settings on the Audio tab for the Audio Device and Stereo Out L & R parameters
applicable to your device.

Deauthorization (Restoring Authorization Data)
Be sure to deauthorize VOCALOID6 prior to uninstalling it.
If you uninstall the software without first deauthorizing it, you will not be able to authorize it if you install
VOCALOID6 on a new computer.

2. Click “Deauthorization.”

4. Select the components you wish to deauthorize and then click “Deauthorize.”

Uninstallation
1. The uninstaller for components like VOCALOID6 Editor and Voicebank is in the below folder
under “Applications.”

There are several installation files. After confirming that the operating environment and conditions for the
product are met, perform all installation steps. Here we will explain one of the procedures as an example.
Since the downloaded file is a ZIP file, please unzip the file first before performing the steps.
If you select VOCALOID Voicebank, select the language to use during the installation and click
“Next.”
