1 Mrs. Olushola ECCD A class of 10 learners. The class teacher stated
that the challenge of the class was because
majority of learners and still find it difficult to
speak and express themselves.
The chairman advised the teacher to utilize
second term for consolidation.
2 Halima Bala KG 1 A class of 22 learners. The class stated that
writing and arithmetic is the challenge of most
learners in the class. She was advised to ensure
strong collaboration with her new assistant
(mhzb. Hamdiya)
3 Hadiza Hassan K.G 2 A class of 11 learners with 2 weak leaners. The
weaker learners are still struggling with
numeracy.
The chairman encouraged the teacher to pay
more attention on the weaker learners since the
class is manageable.
4 Hadiza Ahmed Year 1 Three learners appeared to be weak across all
subjects and the teacher has been urged to
utilize the presence of the assistant teacher and
work on the weaker learners.
5 Bilkisu Sabiya Year 2 A class of 20 learners out of which 4 are weak.
The class teacher reminded all that the
performance of 2 out of the 4 weak learners has
been static right from KG2.
6 Mahmoud S. Year 3 A class of 17 learners with 3 weak learners. The
Mahmoud BSTD (Y7-9) weak learners face challenges in the areas of
PVS Y9 writing and comprehension.
On BSTD Y9, learners get easily distracted due to
peer influence.
7 Nazifi Idrees PVS Year 4 – 8 The teacher did a good job but there is still room
History Year 7 – 9 for improvement.
NVE Year 7 – 9 The Ag. HOS advised that there should total
application of BECE questions during assessment
to prepare leaners for external examination.
4 Abdulmajeed Basic Science and Majority of year 7 learners are new to the
Haruna Technology (Year 4 – 9) system. Hence, are still acclimatizing to the
system.
Weaker learners in that category are
recommended for booster classes.
5 Mustapha Isa IRS (Year 1 – 9) The teacher did a good job but there is still room
Turaki for improvement. He encouraged the school to
reach out to parents to always support their
wards at home.
6 Ahmad Civic (Year 10 -12) Learners in the senior class are doing well with
Muhammad Govt. (Year 10-12) the exception of few. The new learners are trying
to acclimatize with the school’s nature of exam
questions.
7 Mutalib Zuberu Mathematics (Year 5 – 8) The teacher did a good job but there is still room
for improvement.
8 Isa Rufai Mathematics (Year 4) The teacher encouraged effective utilization of
Biology (Year 10-12) the booster class to improve learners’
performance.
He also recommended that a Guardian and
counselling session be booked for year 11
learners.
9 Mutollib Jimoh Arabic and IRS The teacher did well. He was encouraged to use
(Year 10 & 12) next term for consolidation haven known the
Arabic primary weakness of the learners.
10 Hauwa Isah English (Year 2 – 5) The teacher did a good job but there is still room
for improvement.
11 Hassanat English Language She complained about the weaker and advocated
Adebayo (Year 6 – 8) for effective booster class to assist the weaker
learners.

16 Jamiu Yusuf Mathematics year (9-12) The teacher acknowledged the improvement and

21 Hajara Usman English Y9 and 12 The HOS (acting) has done a good job but
Lit. in Eng (Year 10) there is still room for improvement

Resolutions:
 Year 9 learners be placed on weekly extension classes against the weekend extension classes.
 The HOP should look into a proper and effective execution of the booster classes to improve
performance of learners.
 Teachers to ensure topics not covered in first term are merged with second term scheme of
work.
Closing remark: The Ag. HOS thanked everyone for the good work they have been doing but still urge
for improvement in areas that are lacking so as to take ASK to greater heights.
