B. Observe proper maintenance of farm tools and equipment.
C. Recognize the importance of farm tools and equipment.

E. Lesson Proper
Material - Materials are the raw products you make
something with which could be just about anything such as
wood, metals, plants, liquids, chemicals etc.
Tool - anything used as a means of accomplishing a task or
purpose

Materials:
1. Lumber - typically refers collectively to wood that's
been processed for use as a building material.

2. Nail – a small metal spike with a broadened flat


head, driven typically into wood with a hammer to join
things together or to serve as a peg or hook.

3. Cement - a powdered substance which when mixed


with water acts as binder of aggregate.

4. Sand – fine gritty, substance found in the shore


and desert.

5. Plywood - thin cross laminated sheet of wood.


6. Gravel - small pieces of rock and pebbles larger
than grains of sand.

Tools:

1. Pull-push-rule - used for measuring long distances.

2. Claw hammer - used for driving and pulling out nails.

3. Cross-cut-saw - tool used for cutting across the grain.

4. Ripsaw - used for cutting along the grain.


5. Plumb-bob - used for vertical alignment.

6. Try square - used to test the squareness of a stock.

7. Hack saw - fine toothed saw used to cut metals and


pipes.

8. Level bar - tool used in checking vertical and horizontal


position.
F. Application

“Group activity: (10 minutes) Since we have finished


our lesson, I want you to group yourselves into 5.
Demonstrate in front how to use the following construction
tools that I have.”
