Action Points
1. Focus on longevity and durability: print, pattern
and colour that play into a versatile, seasonless
wardrobe will be key as both sustainability and
purpose become ever more important. Stories that
strike a deeper chord will be relevant all year,
allowing greater flexibility and seasonless
deliveries.
2. Explore a connection with nature: as we
increasingly embrace nature, draw print and pattern
inspiration from the outdoors as well as grounding
stories within this context. Look to natural dyes,
pigments, and low-impact solutions to fulfil this.
3. Redefine minimalism: expand the enduring
minimalist mindset by reusing and reducing waste,
and broadening into new aesthetics that reference
craft, nature and heritage. Elevate staples and
vacation-wear through colour and a less-is-more
approach to print and pattern.
4. Champion artisanal craft: partner and collaborate
with local craftspeople, with a more balanced
approach to regional representation as part of
decolonisation. Credibility and integrity are key
here.

Crafted Structures
The concept: Stripes and simple checks will emerge as a key
route as consumers look for tried-and-tested staples to bolster
versatile, seasonless wardrobes. Colourful, artisanal stripes
and rustic, textured finishes bring this story to life for relaxed
summer items or loungewear. For younger markets, opt for
genderless ranges of oversized throw-ons, and shirting for
more mature markets.
Application & technique: Splice together contrast colours,
scales and stripes to push this into directional territory.

Cultured Craft
The concept: Artisanal takes on traditional crafts remain key for
summer, and the global drive for decolonisation brings
homespun pattern to multiple market levels. Younger markets
are looking to considered craft in place of conventional
streetwear, and cult brands are proving that traditional
patterning, textured woodblock print and embroidery satisfy this
global outlook.
Innovation: Consider how to be more globally inclusive while
being mindful of region-specific cultural references. Collaborate
to empower local arts and craft communities, which creates @ad ishst ud io s
authenticity and meaning – a growing importance to customers.

Botanical Art
The concept: The rise of natural dyes and a rediscovered
enthusiasm for nature will drive an emergence of botanical
and plant imprints. This taps in to menswear's newfound soft
masculinity, which has broad applications and appeal, while
also offering opportunities for gender-neutral ranges, as seen
at Jacquemus. Organic eco-prints and silhouette foliage are
key, as well as pocket details or pared-down placements.
Application & technique: Partner with artisan dyers or create
prints using eco-print, cyanotype, and botanical pressings.

Vintage Blooms
The concept: Bank on florals that offer security for consumers,
taking cues from interiors, and menswear's shift towards soft
masculinity. Draw on the renewed interest in antiques and
timeless elegance for heritage blooms and #furnishingflorals,
echoing this movement in interiors. Shirts are the key vehicle
here, in both relaxed and smarter varieties, with comfort a
priority.
Application & technique: Look to interiors, antiques, and
wallpapers on lighter grounds to avoid an A/W feel. These will
work well transseasonally, offering re-phasing opportunities if @jess_ meany

Artful Collage
The concept: The rise of vintage and upcycling is creating a
demand for one-off items that champion individuality as a new
status symbol. Pieced-together graphics and printed offcuts or
old garments are ideal fodder for these individual pieces. Build
on repurposing from previous seasons via #deadstockdesign,
with an artful, curated eye that feels more purposeful.
Innovation: Ideal for using overstock, offcuts and waste fabrics,
upcycle and patch together in curated patterned pieces. For
more accessible and economic options, reduce the number of
