Q.3. (a) Explain the basic idea behind the Resource-based View (RBV).

(b) According to the proponents of the Dynamic Capabilities View (DCV), the RBV has
some major shortcoming. What is the shortcoming with RBV?
(c) Explain the basic idea behind DCV. (3 marks)

Q.4. Inimitability of “resource bundle” of a company can be ensured through “complexity” and
“causal ambiguity”. Explain the concepts with suitable examples. (2 marks)
