Activity Individual/pairwork
Aims Vocabulary connected to the environment and speaking.
Time 20 minutes
Number of students Any
Before class Photocopy enough worksheets for every student in the class.

ask the class to guess what the word is. Give the first letter to help them if
necessary. Give a worksheet to every student in the class and tell them to do the
others. Set a time limit and, when they have finished, check the answers with the
whole class.

2 Tell them to complete the ‘Me’ column with their own answers. Organise them
into Student A and Student B pairs and tell them to interview their partner, using
the same questions, and make a brief note of their answers in the ‘Partner’ column.
