Install Manager – Monthly Activities Checklist

Things that need to be done by the Install Manager on a monthly basis:

Develop installer work schedule


Vacation days identified and other missed days
Provide copy to the Installation Coordinator
Total manpower understood
Create broad training plans
Train installers on proper job completion
Supervise and support successful project completion
Weekly plans
Develop focus areas for the month
I.e.: Customer service, sales, technical areas
Develop contests and / or spiffs for accessory sales
Review Production statistics
Sold days proposed vs. sold days generated
Callback ratios
Customer satisfaction
Identify training opportunities
P&L Review
Review revenue and sold day variance to prior year and budget
Review direct labor and material %’s to prior year and budget
Determine action plans (if needed)
Review future months revenue and sold days budgets and determine staffing needs
(increased or reduction in force)
Plan for and understand the upcoming season’s staffing needs
