Officer
Developing and implementing a sustainability strategy in alignment with company goals. Led and coordinated
sustainability initiatives and projects across departments. Conducting research and analysis on the latest
sustainability trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out a gap analysis and provide recommendation and solutions for the Bank’s sustainability program.

• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of the Bank’s sustainability road map and program to
achieve certification and contribute to the National Development and Sustainable Development Goals.

• Develop policies and initiate tasks for the Bank to accomplish its objectives for social and economic
development and environmental protection.

• In liaison and collaboration with Executive Management establish and lead teams in the development and
Implementation of across-the-board standards for sustainability. These are Governance, Human Capital,
Management, Technological, Business Models, Operations, Products and Stakeholder Relations.

• Create sustainable programs that position the bank and enable it to seize the business opportunities in
modernizing, technologizing and greening the environment and thrive in the age of digitalization and
ensure long-term profitability of the Bank.

• Drive the business to establish banking services and products, systems and processes; and undertake
housing projects that are technology-powered, sustainability-driven and socially-inclusive and protect the,
protect the natural environment as well-being of the communities.

• Champion and hold stakeholder meetings, workshops and consultations including regulators, service
providers, customers, business and industry to obtain input into the Bank’s sustainability programs, policies
and processes.

• Develop and implement programs that support the national development agenda and drive the Society’s
purpose of existence.

• Develop and presentation of management and board reports on the Bank’s sustainability certification
journey from time to time.

• Draw up a training plan and program for sustainability. Carry out post sustainability program
implementation reviews for further enhancements.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Masters in Development Finance/Environmental Science/ Sustainability or related
field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainable development finance, management of development
programs.
• Sustainability/ESG Certification is added advantage.
• Good analytical and conceptual skills with advanced data analysis skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to meet tight deadlines.
