I. OBJECTIVE

The activity aims to:

• Provide a water system and washing area to the pupils and personnel of the adopted
school (Bagumbuhay Elementary School)

II. METHODOLOGY

• Preparation of Project Proposal by selected personnel of Cor Jesu College

• Presentation of the project proposal to the superiors of the Province of United States of
the Brothers of the Sacred Heart
• Meeting with the Barangay Captain of Igpit for the discussion on their contribution to
the project
• Construction of the water system and washing area

III. NARRATIVE/HIGHLIGHTS

The community engagement office of the school facilitated the implementation of the
project: preparation of the materials, buying the needed materials, and constructing the project.
Selected personnel went to the area to check the progress of the project.

IV. INSIGHTS/REFLECTIONS

Being others centered. Looking first at the welfare of others is difficult for people who are
used to serving others. The act of providing water system and washing area of the adopted school
manifests our being other-centered. May this value be also developed in the hearts of the
recipients of the project.

V. RECOMMENDATIONS

• The adopted school must ensure that the project will be taken cared of
• The school community must also find their own way in enhancing the project
