o Aristotle: He proposed virtue ethics, emphasizing the development of character
and moral virtues as the path to ethical behavior.
o John Rawls: He proposed the theory of justice as fairness, advocating for a
society where all individuals cooperate under fair terms.
2. Fillennials (Filipino Millennials): Fillennials, or Filipino millennials, are individuals
born from 1980 to 2000. They are known to be socially engaged, tech-savvy, and are
often described as the “selfie” generation.
3. Generations:
o Baby Boomers: Born 1946-1964
o Generation X: Born 1965-1980
o Millennials (Gen Y): Born 1981-1996
o Generation Z: Born 1997-2012
o GEN ALPHA Born: 2013-present.
4. Eternal Law, Natural Law, Human Law:
o Eternal Law: The Divine Wisdom of God which oversees the common good and
governs everything.
o Natural Law: The rational creature’s participation in the eternal law.
o Human Law: The laws that humans create based on their understanding of
natural law.
5. Utilitarianism: An ethical theory that determines right from wrong by focusing on
outcomes. It holds that the most ethical choice is the one that will produce the greatest
good for the greatest number.
