B. DESCRIPTION To prevent drug abuse, it is important to focus on prevention programs,
education and awareness, and early intervention. Prevention programs
aim to enhance protective factors and reduce risk factors associated with
drug use. Education and awareness campaigns provide information about
the risks and consequences of drug abuse, while early intervention
programs target at-risk populations to prevent the initiation of drug use.
These strategies work together to create a comprehensive approach to
preventing drug abuse.
