self-drive adventure. However, also for you as
independent traveler, it is nice to sit back and enjoy
organized and guided activities once in a while.
Examples are sandboarding in the dunes, kayak-
ing on the Atlantic Ocean, or a game drive in an
open 4x4 in beautiful Etosha National Park. Or take
a unforgettable ride in a hot air balloon and enjoy
the views of the Sossusvlei. There are countless
options!
These activities will make your experience of
Namibia even more intense: go deeper into the
wilderness, see animals up close, learn more about
the plant and animal species, or experience that

QUAD BIKE TOURS &
SANDBOARDING
Quad bike tour on the coast takes you
to places in the desert where even the
4x4 cars struggle to get to. But don’t
worry, the quads are easy to handle -
even for beginners.
Choose between a 1 or 2 hour guided
tour and feel the rush of speed in the
sea of sand.

Try out one of the favorite pastimes of


the locals: sandboarding. You wouldn’t
believe how slippery sand can be at
Dune 7, one of the biggest dunes in
the area. You can either lie down on
the board, kind of like sleighing, or
stand up which is closer to
snowboarding.

Swakopmund or Walvis Bay and a
