Superposition Theorem

What is a Superposition Theorem

The superposition theorem states the following:

The current through, or voltage across, an element in a linear


bilateral network is equal to the algebraic sum of the currents
or voltages produced independently by each source.

In the figure shows a circuit in which two batteries A and B deliver a
current to a load resistor RL through a line resistors RA and RB. For the
values given the (internal resistance of battery are included in RA and
RB) Determine:

A.The load current IL, IA, & IB


B.The load power PL and
voltage across the load VL.
