RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Table 1: Height of plants and number of leaves in week 1

2 (Inorganic) 16 cm 2.34 .5.47 3 0 0

3 (Control) 11 cm 2.66 7.07 3 0 0

The table shows the initial height and number of leaves of the plant.

Table 2: Height of plants and number of leaves in week 2

1 (Organic) 16 cm 0 0 5 .34 .11

2 (Inorganic) 17 cm 1 1 4 .66 .43

3 (Control) 15 cm 1 1 5 .134 .11

The table shows that the height of plant 2 is the highest, next is plant 1, then

plant 3. It also shows that plants 1 and 3 have the most number of leaves and plant 2

has the least amount of leaves.

3 (Control) 17 cm 2.33 5.42 5 .33 .10

The table shows that the height of plant 1 is the highest, next is plant 2, then

plant 3. It also shows that plant 1 has the most number of leaves, next is plant 3 then

plant 2.

3 (Control) 22 cm 2.66 7.07 8 2 4

The table shows that that the height of plant 1 is the highest, then plants 2 and 3

have the same height. It also shows that plant 3 has the greatest amount of leaves, next

to it is plant 1 then plant 2 has the least amount of leaves.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Based on the study, conclusions were drawn. This study conducted by the

researchers proved that the use of fertilizer enhance the growth of plant and organic

fertilizer is more effective than inorganic fertilizer. It is also proven that organic fertilizer

is easier to apply than the inorganic fertilizer. Aside from that, it is affordable, easy to

find and eco-friendly.

It is recommended to the future researchers to be careful when applying urea

because the chemical reaction that takes place when it is applied to the soil can harm

the health of the plant. It is also suggested to use pesticide to control weeds, avoid

insect infestation and diseases.
