English Language: Topic: Nouns

Draw/collect four pictures related to the 4 types of nouns.

English Literature: Topic: Trees

If you were a tree, which kind of tree would you like to be? Draw/collect one picture of that tree.

Mathematics:

Topic: Subtraction

Go to the market with ₹ 500. Buy your favourite fruit. Write the price of the fruit. How much money will you
pay to the fruit seller? How much money will you get back from the fruit seller?

Note it down in your diary. Take a photograph while buying the fruit.

Social Studies:

Topic: Duty of a responsible citizen.

As a responsible citizen, how have you helped your next door neighbour on an occasion? Write about your
feelings in 5 to 6 sentences. Take a photograph of yourself in the act of helping your neighbour.

Science: Topic: Germination of seed

Learn the definition of germination of seed.

Steps to be followed for the experiment

Take the pictures of the process of germination. Bring the coloured pictures to the school on the day of the
project.

Computer: Secondary storage devices

Collect pictures of the following secondary storage devices.

1) Solid State Drive (SSD)
2) DVD
3) Thumb Drive
4) SD Card

Write the following sentences on the above secondary storage devices.

1) SSD: It is a new generation of portable storage device used in computers and can be used
to store data, documents, files, pictures etc. that can be accessed anytime.
2) DVD: It is a silver- coloured disc and it has the capacity to store more data than a CD.
3) Thumb Drive: A thumb drive is a re-writable storage device that can hold data without
power supply.
4) SD Card: The SD Card (Secure Digital Card) is an ultra-small flash memory / a non-
volatile memory card designed to provide high-capacity memory in a small size.

[NOTE: The project will be done in class. You will only collect the pictures and learn the
sentences.]

Bengali: পন্চতন্ত্রের যে কোন১টি গল্পের ২ টি ছবি জোগাড় কর এবং ঐ গল্পটির নীতি কথা ৩ - ৪ টি বাক‍্যে তৈরি
করে মুখস্থ কর ।

Hindi: Paste a picture on any story from the Panchatantra and describe what you have learned from it in two to
three sentences.

Life Skill: Write not more than 7 sentences on how to protect yourself from the heat wave.
