production schedule and available machine hours, the company estimates that they can produce

operating hours per day (8 hours) by the production rate per hour (28 bottles).

which is important to the company's goal to give a transparent message about the company's
product that is effective in preventing insect such as mosquitoes, simplicity because the perfume

The company came up with the idea of this kind of packaging in which the perfume
bottles have different sizes that also have a variety of designs. The bottles have different
structures, such as the bottle caps having lines, the bottles having curved designs and the
bottlecaps being circular. The company came up using an illustration of the background pattern
of environment flowers, plants, and leaves with fruit that is relatively connected in making the
perfume which has the main ingredients of vanilla and lavender. The company wants a design
that is nearly connected to the environment where the vanilla and lavender came from. Using this
kind of packaging just gives the environmental feel and compliments the elegance of each bottle.
The company also sticks the logo sticker of the company at the center top of the perfume bottles
to give it more details.
When it comes to overall packaging the company will use a carton box that is eco-
friendly which can be used to be soil for the plants and it also comes with durability so that it can
carry the perfume bottles. The box has this compartment inside and also a bubble wrap that
covers the perfume bottle, so that it will be prevented from moving. The company estimated that

design trends.

manufacturing. Compliance with waste disposal regulations is paramount. The business should
stay informed about local, national, and international regulations and ensure the practices align
with legal requirements. As the Bites Off Blends grows, it is essential to understand the
significance of managing waste appropriately, not only for regulatory compliance but also for
environmental sustainability and public health.

Bite Off Blends will generate several types of waste, each with its own characteristics and
disposal considerations:

 Waste Segregation: Categorize waste into hazardous, non-hazardous, recyclable, and

organic. Provide clear bins for employees to segregate waste.

 Hazardous Waste: Perfume production often involves the use of chemicals, essential oils,
and solvents, some of which may be classified as hazardous waste due to their toxicity or
flammability. Register with relevant authorities, label hazardous waste containers, and
engage licensed contractors for proper disposal of hazardous materials. Proper disposal of
hazardous waste is crucial to prevent harm to the environment and human health.

 Non-Hazardous Waste: This includes general waste such as packaging materials, office
waste, and non-hazardous by-products of manufacturing. While non-hazardous,
responsible disposal is still vital to reduce the environmental impact.

 Recyclable Waste: The business may generate materials like cardboard packaging, glass
containers, and paper. Set up recycling stations for materials like glass, cardboard, and
paper, and ensure they are collected by certified recycling facilities. Recycling these
materials helps reduce waste sent to landfills and conserves resources.

 Regular Training: Educate employees about the importance of proper waste disposal and
provide training on waste management guidelines.

 Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of waste

generation, handling, and disposal activities, including permits and compliance reports.

ensures compliance with regulations but also promotes environmental sustainability and protects
public health. By adhering to best practices and continuously improving waste management, Bite
Off blends can create a fragrance that goes beyond the senses, one that leaves a lasting
impression of environmental consciousness and responsibility. Proper waste disposal is, in
essence, a fragrant responsibility.
