Topic: The Role of an Economist

Instructions:
You are a journalist of a famous newspaper in the United Arab Emirates and you have been
asked to write an article for the Business Section.
You must conduct research and write an article on a famous Economist.
 To begin your research, you must first:
Formulate a clear and focused research question that describes what you would like to
know about an Economist.
The focus of your article should be on:
1. A brief background on the Economist.
2. Describing the idea or achievement contributed by the Economist to the
field of Economics.
3. Identifying a minimum of TWO roles of an Economist.

The Structure of your article:

1. Your article must have a title.
2. The name and picture of the Economist.
3. Clear headings and well-constructed paragraphs to outline the information
4. A list of References at the end of the article to mention your sources used for the
research.
5. Present your findings in the form of a newspaper article that can be done on a Word
Document, PDF, Publisher, or PowerPoint format.
 6. The article must be 250 words or more EXCLUDING the list of references.
7. Your articles are to be submitted on Toodle under the task on or before the
Due Date.
8. All the information presented in the article MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
9. NO PLAGIARIZED WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE SUMMATIVE TASK.

***Note: If you select and conduct thorough research on any other famous economist other
than the ones listed above, you will be rewarded with bonus points for Criteria B -
Investigation.
