Message from the
Principal’s Desk
I am thrilled to announce that NPS HSR will be
hosting Model United Nations (MUN) event this
year on June 27 and 28. The Model United Nations
is not just a simulation; it is an invaluable
opportunity for our students to engage in critical
thinking, diplomacy, and collaboration as they
tackle some of the most pressing global issues
facing our world today.
This year's NPSHMUN promises to be an enriching experience, where
students will have the chance to step into the shoes of diplomats,
representing various countries and debating solutions to complex
international challenges. Through this immersive experience, participants
will develop essential skills such as negotiation, public speaking, and
consensus-building, which are crucial for success in the global arena.

I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the organizing committee,

faculty advisors, and student delegates who have worked tirelessly to make
this event possible. Their dedication and enthusiasm are truly
commendable, and I have no doubt that this year's NPSHMUN conference
will be a resounding success.
Message from the
Principal’s Desk
To all our participants, I encourage you to embrace this opportunity
wholeheartedly, to engage in meaningful dialogue, and to approach each
debate with an open mind and a spirit of cooperation. Remember, the
solutions you propose today may very well shape the future of our world
tomorrow.

I look forward to witnessing the passion, intellect, and diplomacy that will
be on display during the Model United Nations event. Let us come together
as a community to celebrate the power of dialogue, diplomacy, and global
citizenship.
Best wishes for a successful and enriching MUN conference!

Message from the
Secretary-General
"He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight."
~ Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Diplomacy. A plain, 9-lettered word, yet an
ingrained, almost inevitable part of the human
psyche. A word often overlooked in the hustle of
our lives whilst continuing to remain a practice
used by billions. There is no place where diplomacy
doesn't exist. Diplomacy thrives in war and
flourishes in peace. It becomes ever-more
important in our world, where our societies are
growing while countries are splintering.
However, at the cusp of my fortieth Model United Nations, I appear to find
that this conference extends much farther than diplomacy. I rest assured
that you, the reader, are well acquainted with the benefits of this one-of-
the-kind emulation of the United Nations. Hence, rather than wasting the
few words I am constrained to, I would briefly mention the importance of
participation. Undoubtedly cliche, yet deceptively important as well. From
my perspective, there is no victory greater than participation. Victories
may come and go, but your experience remains.

That is why, dear delegates, I urge you to make the leap, participate and
give it your all.

Regards,
Tannmay Kumarr Baid
Secretary-General
Message from the
Director-General
“The supreme art of war is to defeat the enemy without fighting”
~ Sun Tzu, The Art of War
As the Director General, I extend a warm welcome
to each one of you. Your presence here signifies a
commitment to diplomacy, collaboration, and
global citizenship. Throughout this conference, you
will have endless opportunities to engage in
meaningful discussions, negotiate solutions to
pressing global and geopolitical issues, and
cultivate essential diplomatic skills.

Diplomacy is not merely about reaching agreements; it's about fostering

understanding, empathy, and mutual respect. As you represent your
respective nations and advocate for your positions, I encourage you to
approach each interaction with an open mind and a willingness to listen.
The strength of diplomacy lies in collaboration and compromise. I urge
you to seize this opportunity to broaden your perspectives, and develop
the skills necessary to become the next generation of global leaders.
Participation is of the greatest importance: each time one participates, he
learns something anew.
I wish you all a productive and rewarding Model United Nations
experience. May your deliberations be fruitful, your resolutions impactful,
and your bonds enduring.

Regards,
Chayan Bhattacharya
Director-General
