Dear Third-Year Management Students,
As you are approaching your final year, it is time to select and declare the Management Major(s) you intend to
study.
Kindly check your major(s) orientation videos @CMS – Majors orientation, those videos will help you know
more about each and every major so you will be able to select your majors easily.
The following is the procedure for major declaration:
Every student has a first and a second major to choose.
There are 2 cycles for major selection:
Cycle (1):
Students will choose their first and second majors. The capacity for first majors is only 40 students max.;
priority is based on GPA for first major selection.
Cycle (2):
We will announce the availability of remaining places in each major, if any, and minimum GPAs accepted in
the 1st cycle for your guidance. If you did not have your choice granted, you need to re-apply to select
your first major from the remaining majors. Those who did not apply in the first cycle can still make their
choice for first major in the second cycle. No changes of 1st major will be allowed after this cycle.
Students will enter the Management Major Declaration Online to choose their Majors or change them. You
should log on to the following link immediately starting 2nd of April, 2024 to 30th of April, 2024 to select
majors or change choices.

No change of requests shall be accepted after the deadline of 30th of April, 2024.
Allocation priority for the 1st major only, will be based on your GPA and the thesis supervision capacity
of the selected major.
Students must check their eligibility in the selected majors (by checking the pre-requisites for each major).
Students must save their selection, where they will see immediately their selection on screen.
If you still have unfulfilled prerequisites which you will take in summer, contact Prof. Mona Elbannan (Vice
dean of Students Affairs) to fill in an official petition – Office no. B5.334 (mona.elbannan@guc.edu.eg).
Important Notes:
No changes will be accepted after the announced deadlines of selecting majors.
The Research Methodology course is the prerequisite for the 1st major seminar only so please choose
your majors even if you still did not pass this course.
In case your choice of majors is not granted due to your GPA, there will be a second round of selection
in Cycle (2) for the first majors that still have places.
