dark vs light -

Hello, Universe.

Are you afraid of the dark?

The beast inside?

The kill order?

What I believe?

Hope, in our hearts

embraced by the light.

run -
the edge -

I feel like I am standing on a cliff

With my future being the edge

I am struck with terror when I think of the drop

I don't know what is next

There is so much pressure to do something remarkable

I forget about the climb

And all the work it took me to get there

But I'm already focused on the descent

The next step is always in mind

The not knowing send me into an anxious spiral

But wherever I land is where I will start climbing again

And maybe next cliff I’ll be able to enjoy the view

my best friend -
growing pains -

Oh, I don't wanna grow up

The world is too big too scary

I just realized everything I have is someday gonna be gone

Wish I could be little

Wish I’d never grown up

The world is too big too scary

It could still be simple

As long as I hold on to my childhood,

just try to never grow up

“Never Grow Up” by Taylor Swift

i don’t understand. -

I don’t understand how we live in a world where someone can be

so hateful.

Why do people go out of their way to be mean?

Kindness is always the easiest choice,

yet others time and time again are rude.

Why have we normalized this as a society?

How did we so easily let this happen?

How can we change this?

Lets normalize love instead.

I love whoever is reading this now.

I love you!
our past -

I’m holding on

Holding on to my childhood and my past

People say to let go but I can’t

My hands paint a picture of who I am

The struggles I have endured

They are weathered and torn

But they’re strong

My hands are full I need to let go

And reach out to what is ahead

only knowing love -

I see pictures of my dog and think,

she has only known love.

She believes that she own this chair,

owns this family.

The thing she truly owns is each of our hearts

Oh how it must be for her to have only felt love

tossed upon life's billows -

Life is hard.

It’s like riding a wave.

It takes endurance and hard work.

You may be tossed around,

get soaked by water,

or even thrown out of the boat.

When an unexpected wave comes crashing down

it is easy to feel hopeless and discouraged,

but it is waves that push us to our next destination.

They are what make us stronger. The Great Wave Off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai
