Fun Brain Website
Fun Brain Website
Access:
https://www.funbrain.com/
The website Funbrain.com gives general information about what it provides for the
students as well as the teachers. The website gives the users a grade level to work with,
and different topics to choose from such as reading, math and games to play.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/funbrain-jr/id692246718
On the app sore it can be found under Fun brain Jr. but this app is specifically for kids
ages 2-6, but can only be compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Purpose
Overall, the goal of Fun brain is to educate students through a variety of games, books, and
videos that will help develop their skills in math, reading, problem solving, and literacy.
App can be downloaded on iPad for students who use an iPad as assistive device
Students can use the Fun brain as an award for good behavior
Students can practice skills at home and screenshot progress for their instructor
Fun way of teaching the students through games
Students can demonstrate the activities that are presented in the games
Watch the videos and then have the class recite what they learned
The information on the website is brief and general compared to the information when
downloading as an app.
The games are interactive and full of great visuals for the students to enjoy.
With a mobile device or an iPad, and computer, Fun brain can be accessed and used not
only in the classroom but at home as well.
For some of the games, the difficulty can be increased to challenge the students as well as
decreased to help the students improve.
A benefit of this website is that it’s easily accessible for both students and parents.
Another benefit is that the website allows you to choose a grade level to work from.
One weakness is that some of the games aren’t school related.
Another weakness is that for students who don’t have a mobile device or laptop, the
interaction is limited.
I think that if there was a way to record or monitor a student’s progress that it would
benefit the student.
