1. Suggest to prevent us from cybercrime

Cracker: is the individual who also has great knowledge in computers and the internet, but he has
the idea of harming others so that he can have an advantage for himself.

As a “Virtual Crimes Concept”, it is understood as a virtual crime any violation of a computer

system, committed through a computer, and also logically using a network, whether corporate,
public or private, where this element ends up invading a system or which he does not have
permission for its use, with the objective of subtracting, modifying and damaging data, for the
system which the invasion was carried out.

Cybercrime is a growing concern in the digital age. While it is not possible to completely
eliminate these crimes, there are a number of measures that can be implemented to reduce the
risks and protect against cyberattacks.

Here are some suggestions:

Awareness and Education: Promote awareness and education programs to educate people about
the dangers of cybercrime, including the importance of strong passwords, identifying phishing
and safe internet browsing practices.

Strengthen passwords and authentication: Encourage the use of strong, unique passwords for all
online accounts. Consider implementing two-factor authentication, which requires a second
verification factor in addition to the password, such as a code sent via text message or an
authenticator app.

Software Updates: Keep all devices and software up to date with the latest security fixes and
patches. This will help protect against known vulnerabilities that cybercriminals can exploit.

Firewall and antivirus software: Use reliable firewalls and antivirus software on all devices to
help detect and block cyber threats.

Data backup: Make regular backups of your important data and make sure it is stored in safe
places. This can help recover information if you fall victim to a ransomware attack or data loss.

Data Encryption: Use encryption to protect sensitive data, such as financial and personal
information, during storage and transmission. This will make the data unreadable for
unauthorized third parties.

Access and Privileges: Limit access to data and systems to only those users who really need
them. Implement privilege controls to ensure only authorized people can access sensitive
information.

Activity Monitoring: Implement monitoring and intrusion detection systems to identify

suspicious or unauthorized activity in real time. This will allow for a quick response to potential
cyberattacks.

Security Policies: Develop clear information security policies and apply them consistently across
the organization. This includes guidelines for proper internet usage, passwords, system access
and data handling.

Collaboration and Information Sharing: Partner with other organizations and share intelligence
on cyberthreats. This can help with early detection and mitigation of attacks.

Remember that cybersecurity is an ongoing effort. It is important to regularly review and update
security measures to adapt to ever-evolving threats. Also, consulting cybersecurity experts and
seeking professional advice can also be a good strategy to protect yourself against cybercrime.
