Ans: By transmitting information and entertainment to a wide range of consumers, the mass media
plays a significant part in the perpetuation of stereotypes in today's world. In today's society, the
mass media has numerous uses. Although it is incredibly enlightening, convincing, and entertaining, it
also contributes to the development of stereotypes about a particular group of people. The way that
people view and treat persons with disabilities is greatly influenced by the media.
Ans: For me, one can overcome the barriers to intercultural communication through acknowledging
the diversity of cultures and learning to respect each culture. Overcoming intercultural barriers
revolves in acceptance and respect.
