THAT RISKS CAN BE PREVENTED OR BROUGHT DOWN. EMPLOYEES MUST REPORT ANY

UNSAFE CONDITIONS TO THE SUPERVISOR/MANAGER AS SOON AS THEY NOTICE

SOMETHING THAT IS NOT RIGHT. THE SUPERVISORS/MANGERS ARE LEGALLY

RESPONSIBLE TO CREATE A SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CORRECT THE ISSUE

STRAIGHT AWAY BY TAKING CORRECTIVE ACTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WHY YOU

NEED TO REPORT WORKPLACE ACCIDENTS?

It is for your own good

By providing an accident report, you may also realize other things that you did not initially

think about such as the impact of the accident on your physical, mental and emotional state

It benefits your colleagues

If a colleague gets involved in an accident and is unable to immediately report it due to

injuries or any circumstance, it is a witness responsibility to report the accident. It only human to do

so. They will get the medical attention that they may need and will be given appropriate rest

KNOW AND DEVELOP SAFETY PROCEDURS

Employees must be aware of the procedures developed to report dangers that they have

discovered. For instance, employees should know where the emergency phones are so that they

can call and report emergencies. Employees should wear relevant safety equipment whenever

possible.

TASK REGULAR BREAKS

Fatigue is the state of feeling very tired, weary or sleepy resulting from insufficient sleep,

prolonged mental or physical work, shift work, or extended periods of stress or anxiety. Boring or

repetitive tasks can intensify feeling of fatigue.

When employees are fatigue or tired, they are more prone to incidents because awareness

of their surroundings is hampered by exhaustion. Taking breaks on regular schedule helps keep

employees fresh.

TIPS FOR WORKERS:

 Eat a healthy diet that promotes longer lasting energy. Complex carbohydrates are

and flexibility workouts
