Activated carbon is an adsorbent (solid
substance that can absorb a component from
the fluid phase) which is most often used in
the adsorption process

Mostly activated carbon made from of raw

materials such as coal, coconut and wood.

After several years of research and

collaboration with Tekmira (research agency
under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral
Resources) we were able to make activated
carbon from Palm Kernel Shells
